Jean Nelson

Jean A. Nelson, age 88, of Battle Creek, passed away on November 22, 2021 at Glenn Arbor Place.  She was born on May 14, 1933, in Jackson, MI., the daughter of Leonard and Gladys (Guston) Shinn.  Jean was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker that especially enjoyed gardening and sewing.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Alvin Nelson, daughters; Denise Beltz and Karen Burrows, grandchildren; Rebecca Cantu and Renee Burrows, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Fr.
