Jason T. Hoyle, age 41, of Garner, North Carolina and formerly of Battle Creek, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on July 4, 2021. He was born on April 14, 1980, in Battle Creek, the son of Thomas and Linda (Girten) Hoyle. Jason graduated from Lakeview High School in 1999. He previously worked as a cook at Bill Knapp’s Restaurant and as chef at the Gull Lake Inn before moving to Garner, North Carolina. He was employed as a lead technician with Foss Fire Protection. Jason enjoyed fishing with his son, hiking, swimming, and working out, but most of all his passion was spending time with his son, Lukas. He is survived by his parents; Thomas and Linda Hoyle of Battle Creek, son; Lukas J. Hoyle of Garner, NC., sister; Traci (Ted) Nardin of Kihei, HI., brother; Travis Henley of Battle Creek, niece; Taylor Bishop and nephew; Jace Bishop, both of Battle Creek. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2021, at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Fred Adamson officiating. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made an educational fund set up for Lukas J. Hoyle, envelopes available at the funeral home.
