Janice Miller

January 1, 1957 — December 16, 2020

Battle Creek

Janice Miller was born on New Year’s Day in 1957 and transcended into her next life unexpectedly on December 16,2020. Janice was a healer and light worker and left an imprint on anyone she came in touch with.  Janice loved life, her crystals, humpback whales, animals, and to sing and dance (especially to John Lennon). Her laugh and humor were contagious, and she always did what she could to uplift those with her. Janice began her journey in massage therapy and transitioned into many roles through the years to help and heal those around her. She was an active member of the Sisterhood of Emerald Fire, and connected with so many people on her journey, wherever she roamed. Most importantly, Janice was an amazing mother to her daughter, Sarah, son-in-law Dustin, and son, Shane. But where she shined with light was with her grandchildren, Savannah and Isaac. They were her pride and joy, and their Ya-Ya went above and beyond to make them smile.  And she spoiled her fur-grand babies with an abundance of treats, toys, and tons of kisses, as well. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Giorgina (Meacci) Miller, and nephews Silvano, Joseph and Dominic Pier. Due to current circumstances, a funeral will not be held at this time, nor would Janice want us to mourn her in that manner. A celebration of her life will be held in the warmer days ahead and announced by family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any of the following local organizations in Janice’s name: All Species Kinship, Cat Nap Lodge, and S.A.F.E. Place. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
