Janice Bush

Janice Sue Bush, age 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away January 12th, 2015 at Bronson Hospital due to long-term complications from a 2000 car accident. Jan was born on November 11th, 1948 in Bedford, Indiana to Harry and Lillian Daily. She worked as a Manager at GKC Theatres across the Midwest.  Jan was an avid lover of animals, spending many years breeding and showing Welsh Corgis and Boston Terriers.  She participated in sled dog racing with Alaskan Huskies and M.U.S.H (Mid-Union Sled Haulers). Her love of the outdoors brought her to Traverse City, Michigan for several years where she enjoyed the northern landscape. Along with her husband Joe, she helped restore a small country home in Mancelona. Together, they gardened and raised chickens. She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin “Joe” Bush.  Survived by son Chris Bush, daughter Lennon Sundance (nee Bush) and step-sons Rick and David Bush.  She had nine grandchildren:  Ian Bush, Astera and Ezra Sundance, Danika and Tara Bush, Justin and Cameron Bush, Jamie and Jacob Tabatowski-Bush. Friends will be received at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home, 703 Capital Avenue S.W.  on Saturday, January 24, 2015  from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. She will be interred at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. www.henryfuneralhome.org
