Janet Jones

Janet D. Jones, age 75 of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. She was born November 26, 1936 in Bellevue, Michigan the daughter of Lyn and Sarah (Page) Griffin. Janet was a graduate of Marshall High School and had been a 4H Leader for the Wattles Park Trailblazers for many years. She loved to camp and spend time with her family. Janet was a realtor with Troxel Realty for many years and prior to that had worked at the Kellogg Credit Union. On June 24, 1956 she was married to Larry Eishen and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1978. She was also preceded by her parents and daughter: Sherie Stack. On December 24, 1983 Janet married Garret L. Jones, who survives. Also surviving are three children: Connie (Randy) Crusciel, Matthew (Rhonda) Eishen and Christopher Jones all of Battle Creek; son-in-law: David Stack of Omaha, NE; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters: Yvonne (Bob) McNees of Battle Creek, Pete (Nancy) Griffin of Factoryville, Dave Griffin and Jack (Lynette) Griffin both of Wisconsin, Diane (Paul) DaDonna and Marie (Wendell) Hagg both of Florida; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
