Janet Eckelbecker

Janet G. Eckelbecker, age 69, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday December 16, 2016 at her home. She was born April 13, 1947 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Ralph Eddie and Fern Isabelle (Hawkins) Yoder. Janet was an avid reader and loved to Karaoke. On April 8, 1970 she was married to Duane E. Eckelbecker and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2003. She was also preceded by her parents, sister Mary Keeley and brother Robert Yoder. Janet is survived by two sons: David (Laura) Eckelbecker of Grapevine, Texas and Bill (Stacy) Eckelbecker of Climax, MI; step-son Duane Eckelbecker of Albion, MI; two granddaughters: Ashley and Tasha Eckelbecker; one great-granddaughter Ryen Horonetz; brother Ralph Yoder of Cambridge, MA; two sisters: Rebecca (Ken) Walenga of Richland, MI and Barbara (Marc) Coppins of Dowling, MI; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
