Jane E. Miller, age 103, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Evergreen Senior Care and Rehab Center. She was born September 17, 1913 in Delaware, Ohio the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Ling) Kopp. A resident of Battle Creek since 1954, she had also lived in Park Forrest, Illinois. On September 30, 1944 she was married to Pat Miller in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Schweitzer, daughter, Elizabeth L. Davis and son in law, Donald Davis. Surviving are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, special niece, Laura (Jim) Duncan and three nephews, John (Barb) Miller, Doug and Hedden Miller. Jane had attended the Bedford Bible Church, was a member of the Leila Auxiliary, Federal Center Employees Association and the Bridge Club at Burnham Brook. She retired from the Federal Center where she had worked from 1955 to 1975. Her hobbies included playing golf and bridge, crossword puzzles, and she loved Detroit Tiger Baseball. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery.
