Jane Olivette (Grimm) Ferdon of Battle Creek, MI passed away January 3, 2020. She was born June 10, 1938 in Franklin County, Kentucky the daughter of Marion (Frank) Grimm and Ida Mae (Sanford) Grimm. She married Frederic David Ferdon on August 30, 1958. They moved from Ohio to California where she lived most of her life. Jane was an accountant by profession for more than 50 years. She was active in her church, serving in the children’s ministry as well as with finances. She was a long- time member of Bible Study Fellowship, enjoyed camping and shopping. One of her greatest joys was living in Alaska for 4 years. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Brian) Evans, son, Forrest David (Darcy) Ferdon, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Also, sister, Peggy (Denny) Metz, brother, Steve (Leta) Grimm, and sister-in-law, Kathy Grimm along with several special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Grimm. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 12 th , from 3-5 PM at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13 th , 11 AM at Faith Baptist Church, Battle Creek with Pastor Roy Henry officiating. Interment will be at Battle Creek Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Samaritan’s Purse ( https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ ). For over 40 years, Samaritan’s Purse has provided aid to the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. Their ministry reaches hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ.
