James White

James Lee White, age 84 of East Leroy, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born April 20, 1931 in Montgomery County, Illinois the son of Charles and Myrtle (Compton) White. Jim retired from General Motors and loved to be outdoors; he especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary (Bellmer) White on June 21, 2015. Surviving are two children: Rosemary Denice Hemken of Walshville, IL and Kyle White of East Leroy; two grandchildren: Shawn and Jenna; four great-grandchildren: Madison, Carter, Kinley and Kyson; one sister Betty Boldt of Greenville, IL and one brother Billy White of Hillsboro, IL. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. www.henryfuneralhome.org
