James Welch

Died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Bronson Battle Creek. James was born on September 20, 1947, in Allegan, MI, the son of Elmer L. and Anna M. (Kennedy) Welch. He had been a lifelong resident of the area. James was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On October 6, 1995, he was united in marriage to the former Patricia Egan who survives. He was a member of the PNA Club and the American Legion Post #257. He also enjoyed fishing and golf. Surviving is a son, Nate(Denise) Welch and a step-son, Nick Easey; 4 grandchildren; brothers, John, Patrick and Jeff Welch. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Welch. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 6:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. A Celebration of James life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at the PNA Club, 15 Clair St., Battle Creek, MI 49014.
