James Lee “Jimmy” Sexton of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away Thursday April 1, 2021. He was born on February 18, 1941 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The son of Carl and Ginny (Gothard) Sexton. Jimmy was a 1959 graduate of Gull Lake High School. He retired from Fisher Body in the 90's after over thirty years of service as a Crib Attendant. Jimmy loved to play golf, fish, bowl, and work in his yard. He got a Hole in One at States Golf Course in 2017. For the last several years at Christmas he would transform his home into a “Griswold” light and decoration display. He is survived by two daughters, Cristina Morris and Donna (Bryan) Pruitt; Grandchildren: Marlee and Mitchell Morris; Great Grandson, Liam Morris; Brother, Donald (Shirley) Sexton; Stepbrothers: Randy, Steve and Larry Barney and several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Sexton and Bill & Ginny Barney; Sister, Patricia Pulver and Daughter, Rebecca Munn. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date this summer.
