James A. “Jim” Rogers, Age 74, Of Battle Creek, Died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his residence. James was born on June 12, 1939, in Battle Creek, the son of Donald and Elizabeth (Goss) Rogers. He helped to manage the teams and made sure each family had a positive experience. And most of all, he loved his family and all of his friends. In 1978 he was united in marriage to the former Deborah “Debbie” L. Lee who survives. Also surviving are sons, Andrew (Jodi) Rogers, Bryan (Tiffany) Rogers, Jimmy (Kimmy) Rogers and Jeff (Crystal) Porter-Rogers; Daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Thurston, Christine (Mike) Williams and Raynell (Mike) Rew; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Linda) Rogers and Leon (Fran) Rogers; a sister, Sandy Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
