James Farley

James  B. “Jim” Farley, Age 58, Of Battle Creek, Died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in Battle Creek. Jim was born on October 4, 1955, in War, West Virginia, the son of Frank and Joan Farley. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School. He had been employed at Meijer Incorporated from 1975 to 1993, then with TRMI from 1993 to 2005. On August 7, 1993, he married the love of his life, the former Jill A. Roche who survives. Jim enjoyed boating , waterskiing yard work, working around the house, playing euchre and loved his cat”Mouse”. Surviving is a son, Michael “Mikie” Farley; a brother, Michael (Robin) Farley and a sister, Brenda (Jim) Steffan. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Ed and Helen Bennett and paternal grandparents, Tom and Pearl Farley.
