Jake Selby

Jake Michael “Mando” Selby, age 27, of Springfield, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born August 12, 1988 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Michael Ray Selby and Michelle Marie Frantz. Jake was a 2007 graduate of Calhoun Community High School and attended Penn Foster Gunsmith School. He worked as a gunsmith at Freedom Firearms, and enjoyed playing guitar and drawing. Jake is survived by his mother: Michelle (Kevin) Reincke; sister: Cortney (Andrew) Csire; nephew: Lucus Scott Csire; two step-brothers: Adam and Isaac Reincke; his Uncle Jack and Aunt Rhonda Munger; maternal grandparents: Rolly and Sandy Frantz; paternal grandmother: Pauline Hughey; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jake was preceded in death by his father, Michael Ray Selby on July 31, 2010 and his paternal grandfather, Ralph Hughey. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
