Jacqueline K. Niver, 63, of Battle Creek passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on May 13, 1948 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Jack W. and Kathleen (Swindler) Covert.
Jacqueline graduated from Lakeview High School in 1966 and attended Kellogg Community College. She was united in marriage on February 1, 1969 to Donald T. Niver.
Surviving are, her husband Don, a son Thomas, a brother Arthur W. Covert II, and an aunt Sue Holder, all of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents and a still born daughter, Elizabeth Anne Niver.
She was very active volunteer at the Doris Klaussen Developmental Center. Jacqueline was one of the founding persons at the Battle Creek Kalamazoo Autistic Society and past president of The ARC.
A service will be held 3pm Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Society of Michigan, American Diabetes Society, or charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
