Jacqueline C. Daniel, Age 92, Of Jackson, MI, Formerly of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Bethany Care Home in Jackson. Jacqueline was born on February 23, 1923, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Jesse A. and Eva S. (Black) Piper. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School and music major at Michigan State University in 1942. In Quantico, Manasses, Virginia on April 24, 1943, she was united in marriage to Robert K. Daniel who preceded her in death on March 23, 2005. During Roberts time in the service during WWII, Jacqueline resided in Port-O-Dumphries, VA, Jacksonville, NC, Oceanside, CA, Battle Creek, MI, Long Beach, CA, Redlands CA, then back to Battle Creek from 1945 to 1949. After the war she resided in Ann Arbor, MI, Detroit, MI, Birmingham, MI, Fort Wayne, IN, Battle Creek, MI, Livonia, MI, Northville, MI and Plymouth, MI in 1977. After retirement, Chelsea, MI, Plymouth, MI, Northville, MI, Clio, MI, Southfield, MI and then Jackson, MI. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Jacqueline’s married life was initially as a homemaker, raising her three children. She was heavily involved in school and church activities. Having been a music major at Michigan State University, she involved herself in church choirs and in musical education of her children. Surviving are her children, Ann Catherine (Daniel) Krichbaum, Robert Keith Daniel, Jr. and Merrie Victoria Daniel. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
