Howard Westrick

Howard Westrick of Battle Creek passed away in his home with family by his side on 6/21/2021. Howard was preceded in death by his father Jacob and mother Neoma (Klein) Westrick, brother Otto Westrick, sister in law Joyce Brown, the love of his life Ruby Howard and  two sons. Howard is survived by his granddaughter Debra (Nathan) Wemple, daughter in law Laurie Clark (Westrick), and Nephew Jacob (Irene) Westrick and many Kalamazoo cousins. Howard was a member of local 333 for over 50 years and worked for Hunter-Prell for over 33 years. He never missed a day and was never late and prided himself in accountability. He was very active in the Battle Creek Community Foundation and provided many scholarships to the graduates of St. Philip High School as well as 11 others that were not apart of the school. Special thanks to Craig Brown,  Branden (Tina) Cavinder, and all the other friends and neighbors who lent a hand when it was needed the most.

The family would like to invite all friends and family to a pot luck in Memoriam of Howard Westrick at the St. Phil Cafeteria from 1 to 4 pm on Saturday July 24th.
