Howard T. Hall, age 82, of Battle Creek, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at The Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. He was born June 26, 1933 in Sutton, West Virginia the son of Bailey and Ruth (Haun) Hall. Howard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and following his discharge he settled in Battle Creek. He was involved in construction throughout his life, retiring as a millwright project manager from Hackett Construction Company and was a member of the Millwright Union Local 1102. He attended Battle Creek Bible Church, spent winters in Florida and enjoyed traveling the country. On August 27, 1967 he was married to Helen F. (Wheeler) who survives. Also surviving are five children: Mike (Mary) Price of Detroit, Pat (Dan) Cramer of Vicksburg, Howard B. Hall of Bradenton, FL, Patricia Adkins of Battle Creek and Mark (April) Hall of Battle Creek; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one brother: Jackson (Gertrude) Hall of New York; several nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Vivian, Beulah and Doris. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Larry T. Messer officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Battle Creek Bible Church or Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. www.henryfuneralhome.org
