Helen Warren

Died Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. Helen was born on March 8, 1927, in Battle Creek, the daughter of William A. and Nellie A. (Allen) Pritchard. She was a 1946 graduate of Mattawan Consolidated High School but resided most of her life in the Battle Creek area. On January 19, 1947, she was united in marriage to Donald Warren who preceded her in death in 2004. Helen worked for Michigan National Bank, Calhoun Federal savings, First Federal Savings, Great Lakes Bancorp and Well Radio Station. She enjoyed writing children’s stories, gardening and bingo. Surviving is a son, Bruce (Carol) Warren;2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Cook and a brother Allen Pritchard; nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Smile Train or The American Cancer Society. www.henryfuneralhome.org
