Helen B. Wagner, age 103, of Battle Creek, passed away on October 17, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 18, 1917 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of George and Eva (Morris) Corbridge. Helen moved to the Battle Creek area in 1960 from South Bend, where she was co-owner of Barney’s Bar and Springlake Lanes Bowling Alley. Helen was a former member of Christ Community Church in Battle Creek. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, bowling and was secretary of the Jack and Jill league. Helen was united in marriage in 1947 to William Henry Wagner, he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, daughter; Kathleen Cleveland, brother; Bud Corbridge and four grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Judith Bliler of Battle Creek, Diane Gutsue of Battle Creek, Connie Jensen of South Bend, son; Robert (Aija) Wagner of Three Rivers, son-in-law; Carl Cleveland, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
