Helen L. Seaman, Age 90, Of Battle Creek, Passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Bronson Battle Creek. Helen was born on November 13, 1920, in Algansee, Michigan, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred (Sprout) Feister. Helen was raised on her family’s farm and graduated from Quincy High School in 1938. She traveled the states before moving to Battle Creek. In 1949, married L. Earl Seamans who preceded her in death. She was employed at Oliver Aviation, Little Rich’s and Michigan Carton. Helen enjoyed gardening, her flowers and playing cards. Surviving children, Marilynn Seamans of Colorado, David E. (Sue) Seamans of Battle Creek and Linda L. (David) Henson of Ohio; a step- grandson, Tim Waltz of Battle Creek; a sister, Betty Jex of Battle Creek; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Feister Hunter. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July, 28, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. www.henryfuneralhome.org
