Helen Jean Busefink (nee Thompson)age 82 Died on April 25, 2011 in Bradenton, Florida. Helen was born on January 17, 1929 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Helen moved to Battle Creek during her youth and in 1948 married Sam Busefink. Helen had a long and interesting career with the Kellogg Company as the Executive Receptionist from 1946 to 1984 where she interacted with heads of state and many celebrities. Helen and Sam retired and moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1984. Mrs. Busefink is survived by her husband, Samuel A. Busefink of Bradenton, Florida, a brother Robert Thompson and sister, JoAnn Thompson of Forest City, North Carolina, a brother Charles Thompson of Chester, West Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Mary Louise and Wayne K. Thompson, brothers, Wayne Thompson, Frank Thompson and a sister Shirley Thompson. She leaves many loved ones and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral Services will be at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek on Friday, May 6th at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev Dr. James Gysel of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation to the American Heart Association in her memory.
