Harold L. Mack, 96, of Battle Creek formerly of Fine Lake passed away Sunday January 27, 2013 at Care Community Assisted Living. He was born on May 15, 1916 in Climax, MI to Everett and Beulah (Proctor) Mack.
Harold was united in marriage on March 3, 1935 to Alice, she preceded him in death in 1986. He was employed by Clark Equipment Company from 1934 until he retired in 1978. Harold was a member of the Clark Equipment Foreman’s Club and Management Club. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fiddlers’ conventions, and wintering in Florida.
Harold is survived by a son, Robert L. (Arleta) Mack, of Battle Creek, five grandchildren, Linda (Ed) Martin, and Laurie Troutner, both of Spring, TX; Robert (Carol) Mack II, of Hastings, Trina (Mike Bialke) Mack, of Bedford, and Kendra (Brian) Tossava, of Hastings, seven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, a special friend, Pauline Baker, of Middleville, a sister-in-law Lucille Mack, of Climax, a nephew, and two nieces. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, brothers, Leroy and Cleon Mack.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday February 2, 2013 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert Zuhl officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Care Community Assisted Living.
