Harold Latham

Harold G. Latham, age 84 of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019. He was born June 9, 1935 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Bernerd G. and Irene (Hager) Latham. Harold was a 1954 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Kellogg Company after 31 years of service, was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with his wife. On October 27, 1997 he was married to Lila K. (Johnson), who survives. Also surviving are two children: Karen (Brad) Lewis and Mark Latham; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; brother: Larry (Kathy) Latham and several nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter and daughter Tamara Latham. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery with Rev. John Adams of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Those wishing to attend please meet in the assembly area prior to the service time. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale for the wonderful care given to Harold.
