Guy Woodard

Guy M. Woodard, age 81, of Battle Creek, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was born May 29, 1933 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Guy R. and Zelma Woodard. For many years he worked at Warren Radio and following his retirement worked as a security guard for Securitas at WKKI and Eaton Corporation. He bowled in several leagues, enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Surviving are his children: Ron (Laurie) Woodard, Teresa Dexter and Denise (Ray) Bonnin; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Valerie Hartson and Marilyn (Richard) McCluskey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta M. (Orsborn) on August 29, 1989; son Ed Brown; sister Patricia Ashley and his parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. www.henryfuneralhome.org
