Gloria Lynne Mowry

Went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Gloria was born November 27, 1945, to Leonard and Mildred (Randall) Davies. She was first married to David Eaton in 1963 and to this union was born 2 sons. This marriage ended in divorce. She then married Carl “Skully” Showstead in 1989, this marriage also ended in divorce. In 2002, she met and married Robert Mowry, he survives. In her younger years she worked as a hair stylist at Cut and Curl. She also worked at Wal Mart, retiring after 15 years. She and Bob traveled together for years as well as going on many cruises together. She also went on cruises with many of her good friends over the years. Surviving is her husband of twenty years, Robert Mowry; 2 sons, Bryan (Leslie) Eaton and Kraig (Nora) Eaton; four grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Eaton, Randi (Nino) Flores; Kristopher Eaton and Kaylynne Eaton, as well as 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, a grandson, Matthew William Eaton and a great granddaughter, Madison Fisher. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the North Avenue Church of God, 1079 North Ave., Battle Creek, MI 49017. www.henryfuneralhome.org
