Glenda Vandenbrink

Glenda M. VandenBrink, age 69, of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was born October 27, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Bunnie E. and Lorena M. (Gourley) Rogers. Glenda graduated from Lakeview High School and loved to paint and quilt as a hobby. She was a lover of animals, especially her “Yorkies” and cared for many of them over the years. On May 9, 1987 she was married to Thomas VandenBrink, Jr. who survives. Also surviving are three children: Katrina Keithley Kogan of Calabasas, CA, Scott (Denise) Keithley of Battle Creek and Christopher (Katie) Keithley of Battle Creek; six grandchildren: Katrina Keithley, Nicole Keithley, Keith Kogan, Austin (Amy) Keithley, Allyson Keithley and Mackenzie Keithley; her mother: Lorena Rogers of Battle Creek; two sisters: Donna Ainsworth of Battle Creek and Bonnie Rhoades of Tyler, TX; half-brother: Dan (Sue) Rogers of Gettysburg, PA and half-sister: Rosie (Earl) Will of Evansville, IN. Glenda was preceded in death by her father and a daughter: Raynell Keithley. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Davis of The Family Altar Chapel officiating. Interment will follow at Bedford Cemetery.
