Gary Norman Cryderman

Gary Norman Cryderman, age 72, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023.  He was born on August 20, 1950 in Battle Creek, the son of Theodore and Phyllis (Workinger) Cryderman.  Gary graduated in 1968 from Battle Creek Central High School.  He enjoyed working out, fishing, hunting, carpentry and other skilled trades, reading the Bible, working outdoors, taking road trips, bon fires, swimming and family gatherings.  He was an avid Michigan Wolverine and Detroit Tiger fan, spending time with his family and working on cars with his life-long friend, Harold Ehle.  Gary was employed at Dare Products for thirty-seven years and Denso Manufacturing for two years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Nancy.  Gary was united in marriage to Maureen B. Olson, on October 27, 2001, she survives.  Also surviving are his children; Ashley (Matt) DeGlopper, Debbie (Steve) Weston, Jamie (Jerry Smith) Cornwell, James (Jodi) Cornwell, brother; Ted (Abby) Cryderman, sister; Nancy Joy Martin, grandchildren; Noah, Zach, Mercedez, Christian, Cruz, Gabrielle, Kelsee, James, Savanna, Sierra, Brady, Kiersten, Ben, Nate, Destiny, Emma, Daniel, and 15 greatgrandchildren.  In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place with no service scheduled at this time.  Inurnment will take place on April 14, 2023.  Memorials in Gary’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
