Gail Heeter

Gail T. Heeter, 77, of Emmett Township, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was born July 17, 1938 in Pineville, Kentucky the daughter of Clyde and Nelle (Card) Thurman. A 1956 graduate of Norwood High School, Norwood, Ohio she went on to graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1960. She retired from Kellogg Community College, where she taught English for 18 years. Her hobbies included reading and photography. On August 20, 1960 she married Steven Heeter in Oxford, Ohio, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Michelle R. Heeter (Peter Dunn) of Sydney, Australia, and a son, Brian (Kristin) Heeter of Bloomington, Indiana. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
