Frank A. Lewis, Age 83, of East Leroy, got a call from Heaven on March 15, 2021 to do some handyman work and put up some Hay. Frank was born on August 17, 1937, in Battle Creek, the son of Frank A. and Edith (Mangus) Lewis. Frank was a great handyman but would never admit it. He was a carpenter in the Carpenters Local 525 for thirty years. After retiring from carpentry work, he worked as a millwright at the Kellogg Company for 15 years. He loved putting up hay on his John Deere 2 cylinder tractors that he restored. He was a great family man. He married the love of his life, the former Betty Lou Gordon who preceded him in death in 2012. They were married 54 years. He is survived by his children, Scott (Wendy) Lewis and Sherry Lewis (Scott Magda) ; 5 grandchildren, Savanna Milnes, Sierra Milnes, Richelle (Josh) Houseman, Katelyn Kerr (Patrick McCrory) and Taylor Lewis (Thomas Hoyt) and 5 beautiful great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Lewis. Frank will be missed by friends and family. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
