Frances Hetz

Frances A. Hetz, age 81, of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. She was born November 2, 1932 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Shirley George and Jennie Sarah (Talbot) VanDyke. A 1951 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, Mrs. Hetz worked at the Kellogg Company until her retirement in 1988 and was a member of the 25 Year Club. On March 17, 1956 she was married to John H. Hetz who preceded her in death on April 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Victoria Ann Small; sister, Leona Roach and brother, Robert VanDyke. Mrs. Hetz is survived by her daughter, Connie F. Hetz; son, Mark S. (Sandy Kinzer) Hetz; three grandchildren: Heather N. Schumacher and her fiancé Phil Linderman, Stephanie A. (Alex) Hetz-Ashley and Craig Angus and his fiancé Shana Stowie; six great-grandchildren and her sister Margie Peterson. Graveside services will be held in Hicks Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 19, 2014. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by the Richard A.
