Enid Albertson Mason, age 88, passed away after a brief illness on August 15th,
2014. She was born July 28, 1926, growing up near Plainwell, Michigan.
Enid graduated from Richland High School and Western Michigan
University. She married Basil Mason on August 8th, 1948. They moved to
Lakeview in 1960, where she resided for the rest of her life. Enid was a successful real estate agent at Stetler Vanderveer Associates for over 25 years, known for her integrity and for matching her clients with their perfect homes. She was active in PTA, Cub Scouts and the many activities of her three children. She served as a volunteer at the now Bronson Battle Creek Hospital System for over 25 years and was elected an officer of the Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Bruce Mason (Ann) of Austin, Texas, her daughter, Susan Kaagan (Steve) of Asheville, North Carolina. Husband Basil and son Scott Mason are deceased. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Paige, Sarah and Natalie Mason, as well as her
brother, Daniel Albertson (Bonnie) and her niece and nephews Dana, Mark
and Brian Albertson. Her family and many dear friends will greatly miss her love, laughter and strength. A Memorial Service will be held at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church on Friday, August 22nd at 11AM followed by a light lunch.
