Edward Lockmiller

Edward Joseph Lockmiller, age 65, of Battle Creek, died suddenly on Sunday, November 1, 2020. He was born January 5, 1955 in Monroe, Michigan the son of Raymond and Verlyn (Popard) Lockmiller. Ed moved to Battle Creek at a young age and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. For the past 10 years he worked as a custodian at the Battle Creek Public Schools, retiring in June of 2019. He loved to camp and enjoyed being outdoors. On August 29, 1987 Ed was married to Diana Lynn (Imus), who survives. Also surviving are two sons: Edward Joseph (Tracy Parker) Lockmiller and James Edward (Courtney Shepard) Lockmiller; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Jim (Sara) Lockmiller and Greg Lockmiller; several nieces and nephews; his mother in law: Ilene Leonard and sister in law: Debra Imus. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Gault officiating.
