Dudley P. Dunham, Sr., Age 85, Of Battle Creek, Died March 1, 2014, in Battle Creek. Dudley was born on July 9, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Deo R. and Mary Magdalen (Poly) Dunham. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Ohio State University. He was employed as an engineer with the Eaton Corporation and retired in 1990 after 39 years of service. Dudley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and loved being with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley D. (Zoog) whom he married in 1949. He was the loving father of Dudley (Mary Ann) Dunham Jr. of West Dundee, IL, David L. Dunham of Austin, TX, Deborah J. Dunham of Columbus, OH, Dirk R. (Penny) Dunham of Kalamazoo, DeAnne P. (Joe) Smellie of Wyandotte, MI, and Dawn E. (Alan) White of Royal Oak, MI; and adored grandfather of Drew, Dana, Heather, Dirk Jr., Damon, Amy, Daphne, Trevor, Genevieve, Duncan, Audrey, Bailey, Joe and great grandchildren Abigail and Ezra. He is survived by brothers, Bill Dunham of Columbus, OH and Jack (Barbara) Dunham of Somerset, KY; a sister, Jane Vlasich of Columbus, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Mark J.
