Dr. Harold Green

Dr. Harold E. Green, age 80 passed away October 10, 2012 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born in New England to Harold (Senior) and Theresa Green.  He has been a resident of the Battle Creek area since 1960. Dr. Harold Green served in the United States Air Force as a Captain. He was loved by his community as a physician. He ended his career as the chief of the laboratory at the Battle Creek VA Hospital. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Vincent De Paul Society, The Legion of Mary, the Pro-Life Tri-Parish Group, St. Joseph Sisters Guild of Nazareth, The American Medical Association (AMA), and the Astronomical Club.
Dr. Harold Green is survived by his wife, Genevieve, his four children: Theodore Green (Debbie), Alexander Green (Anne), Isabelle Dubois (Patrick), Philippe Green (Brooke), his grandchildren: Jodi, Sherry, Emily, Anna Sophia, and Jacob, his five siblings: Joyce Picarello, Barbara Carroll, Patricia Mitchell, Rita Hood, and Paul Green. Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Sunday October 14, 2012 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where a Rosary will be recited at 7pm Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Mark Vyverman V. F. officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent De Paul of St. Joseph Catholic Church Battle Creek.
