Dottie Dumaine

Dottie “Joyce” Blaylock  DuMaine, Age 65, Of Springfield, Michigan, On  January 1, 2016, Joyce went to be with our Heavenly Father. She passed at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Joyce was born on August 14, 1950, in Old Hickory, TN, the daughter of Silas A. Blaylock and Dorothy (Hughes) Blaylock. She had been an area resident since 1953, coming from Tennessee.  She was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 1968. Also of Argubright Business College. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy on Dickman Road, in Battle Creek, where she played the piano for the church for 13 years.  She loved animals, and her hobbies were sewing and painting, playing the piano and the guitar. Surviving is her daughter, Onna “Crystal” (Bryan) Carley; nephews, Jason and Brandon Blaylock, Tyler Simmons; nieces, Brandy and Jessica Simmons. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry Blaylock. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Due to health issues there may be a memorial service in the future. Donations are greatly appreciated to help cover funeral costs. Arrangements by the Richard A.
