Dorothy D. Seage, 82 of Battle Creek died Sunday December 11, 2011 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on December 1, 1929 in Battle Creek to William and Delores (Parmalee) Damon.
Dorothy married Jack L. Seage on April 17, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV; he preceded her in death. She was employed by the Kellogg Company for 10 years, and then Post Cereals for 20 + years until she retired.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Donald, and William Bradstreet, of Battle Creek, Robert Bradstreet, of Adrian, a daughter Patricia Polendo, of Battle Creek, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, a brother, Donald Damon of Marshall and a sister, Wilma Salyer, of Battle Creek.
She enjoyed camping at Tri-Lake Trails, traveling, bird watching, playing cards, and dancing. Dorothy was a member of the P.N.A., Moose, V.F.W., and Eagles.
Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Tuesday December 13, 2011at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where services will be held 1 pm Wednesday. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
