Dorothea "Virginia" Hubbard

It is with deep sorrow we announce that D. Virginia Hubbard went to be with her Lord and savior on August 4, 2024 Virginia lived a great life. She never knew a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile. Virginia was born July 10, 1937 in West Helena AR she is survived by son Jeff (Teri) Hubbard, daughters MaryAnn McGee, Nina Stravers, Laurie Hubbard, and Monica Cummings, brother Floyd Bradley 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by husband James, son James Jr, sister Edna Stokes and mother Annie C Johnson. Virginia was employed by Battle Creek Health System, Battle Creek Public Schools, Kelly Services and an independent contractor helping elderly women remain independent. She was a very caring and loving woman who touched many. A brief memorial will be held on Saturday August 10, 2024 at Pathways House of Prayer 458 Main St Battle Creek MI 49014 visitation will be at 11 AM service at noon. Virginia’s favorite color was yellow and one of her request was as many people as possible wear yellow to her celebration of life.�
