Doris Willbur

Doris Evelyn Willbur 83 of Lakeport Michigan passed away on August 4, 2018. Doris was born on May 1, 1935 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Maurice and Thelma Willbur. She graduated as Valedictorian of Vermontville Agricultural High School in 1953 and also attended Argubright Business College. She worked Real Estate Sales and as an Accountant. She previously lived in Battle Creek, MI, Santa Barbara, CA, Portage, MI, Yuma Arizona, Morganton, North Carolina and Lakeport, MI.  She loved gardening, taking Zoie for a walk on the beach, dinners and get togethers with family, water aerobics with her friends and attending bible meetings.  Doris was united in marriage to Lyle A. Willbur on September 15, 1997 he preceded her in death on December 3, 2017. Preceding her in death is one brother Richard Willbur (Norma). Surviving are her brother Thomas Willbur (Shirley). daughter Cynthia Seedorf, Joseph W. Seedorf (Julie), grandchildren Crystalei Daniels, Eric Seedorf, Aaron Seedorf (Felipe) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., with John Willbur, Jennifer Brown,Linda Dietz, Doris Bloemker and Jenny Connelly officiating. Interment will be at Hicks Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Mark Lowell, Greg Lockhart, John Anderson, Mike Barnell, Jeffrey Griffith and Mark Willbur. www.henryfuneralhome.org
