Doris Griffin

Doris L. “Dee”  Griffin, Age 76, Of Battle Creek, Died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Dee was born on January 18, 1937, in Allegan, MI, the daughter of James H. and Doris L. (Rheynard) Dellinger. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She was employed with Battle Creek Health Systems for 30 years. Dee is survived by her husband of 53 years Carol Lee “Pat” Griffin; children, Craig (Karen) Griffin, Vangie (Mike Sternstein) Hovermale and Sue (Scott) Wilson; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Dellinger; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother, James Dellinger. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
