Dora Marian Tyndal, Age 86, Of Battle Creek, Died Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Battle Creek. Dora was born on June 29, 1930, in Hastings, MI, the daughter of Edgar S. and Ruby E. (Walters) Fifield. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended Southwestern Jr. High and Battle Creek Central High School. On June 10, 1946, she was united in marriage to Hiram E. Tyndal who preceded her in death in 1994. Dora enjoyed playing bingo, going to auctions, garage sales, going out on Saturday nights with her husband and being with her family. Surviving are her children, Larry M. (Mary) Tyndal, John L. Tyndal, Linda S. (Scott) Moody and George H. Tyndal all of Battle Creek; 5 grandchildren; a niece, Sandy Sharpe. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation. www.henryfuneralhome.org
