Donna Scott

Donna B. Scott, age 84, of East Leroy, loving wife and Mother, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Donna was born December 11, 1929 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of the late John L. and Clara B. (Hendrixson) Martin. She attended Battle Creek schools and worked at the old Regent Theater. In 1946, she met the love of her life, Tommy J. Scott and they were married April 1, 1948. Tommy preceded her in death on August 7, 2013 after 65 years of marriage. Donna enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, gardening, sewing and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children: Diana (Craig) Heimberger of Ravenna, Ohio, Tommy A. (Janet) Scott of East Leroy, Susan (Paul) Westworth and Teresa Daly both of Battle Creek, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Clifford (Harriet) Martin of Battle Creek and Maurice (Dianna) Martin of Ceresco, sister-in-law Eunice Martin and brother-in-law Billy Fred (Barry) Jones of Amarillo, Texas and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles and Wesley Martin. Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Smith of Grace Community Church officiating. Donna and Tommy will be privately inurned together at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
