Donna Rooker

Donna G. Rooker, Age 69, Of Battle Creek, Died Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. Donna was born on July 28, 1946, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (Spaulding) Niblack. She had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School in 1964. On June 26, 1965, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dennis N. Rooker who preceded her in death in 2011. She had been employed with Transamerica Insurance for 18 years, then with Allen Harmon Insurance for 10 years retiring in 2013. She enjoyed golfing, crocheting, the 64 Club, was an avid reader, had a love for Hawaii, her family and her dog “Lei-Lani”.  Donna is survived by her three daughters, Robin R. (Douglas A.) Kieper of Jeffersonville, IN, Rhonda R. (Dale A. ) Hawkins of Battle Creek and Ranelle R. (Paul R.) Tokarczyk of Milford; eight grandchildren, Lance and Logan Storey, Kyle Hughes, Alyssa Weaver, Lauren Hawkins, Nickolas, Emily and Matthew Kieper; a great grandchild, William Kieper; a brother Terry (Martha) Cessna of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Niblack. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2015, at the funeral home With The Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
