Donna Kachman

Donna Marie Kachman, Age 39, Of Battle Creek, Donna Marie passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016, after a 3 year battle with cancer surrounded by her family. Donna Marie was born on May 17, 1977, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Donald R. and Donna T. (Hill) Kachman, Sr., who survive. She had been an area resident since 1986. Donna was a graduate of Lakeview High School in 1995, and then attended Kellogg Community College. She had been employed at Lowe’s and Sam’s Club. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, volunteered at the VA Medical Center for 4 years, Binder Park Zoo and was an election inspector. Donna Marie enjoyed being with family, baking, needle point, sewing and jewelry making.  Surviving are her brothers, DJ (Tara) Kachman, Doug (Michelle) Kachman and David (Sarah) Kachman; 8 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
