Donalee White

Donalee Florence White, age 90 of Kalamazoo, formerly of Beadle Lake, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Park Village Pines. She was born August 18, 1925 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Alton Bliss and Marie Nellie (Dell) Armour. Donalee was a 1943 graduate of Lakeview High School and retired from the Kellogg Company in 1985 where she had worked for 30 years. She was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and being with her family. On May 1, 1943 Donalee was married to Arthur Othon White in Battle Creek and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1995. She was also preceded by her sister Lucille Bilbia and brother Robert A. Armour.  Donalee is survived by her children: Paul Othon (Terri) White of Chicago, IL, Daniel Lee (Susan) White of Manistique, S. Scott White of Kalamazoo and Sheila Rene (Bill) Burton of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. James Gysel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
