Donald Lipscomb Sr.

Donald C. Lipscomb Sr., 72, of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born on April 25, 1940 in Richmond, VA to Harvey and Georgia (Burns) Lipscomb.
Don graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1958. He was employed by the Kellogg Company for 35 years until he retired in 1995. Don was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club.
Donald is survived by his wife, Karen, of Grand Rapids, two sons, Donald C. (Sandra) Lipscomb Jr., of Dorr, MI and Dennis Lipscomb, of Caledonia, MI; a granddaughter, Cassie Lipscomb, a brother, Tom Lipscomb, of Battle Creek, and two sisters, Janice (Jim) McGhee and Georgia L. Beard, both of Battle Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Garfield Lipscomb, and two sisters, Nancy Brubaker and Hazel Conrow.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no service or visitation.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Arrangements are by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
