Donald Hunter

Lost his courageous battle with cancer on October 2, 2017, at Glenn Arbor Hospice of Battle Creek. Don was born September 22, 1956 in Battle Creek, MI to Clyde and Marjorie (Feister) Hunter, who preceded him in death. He was a 1974 graduate of Harper Creek High School. Don worked for Collins & Aikman after graduation until it closed in 2002. He moved to Texas until 2014, when he returned and joined the work force at Denso Mfg. until his death. He was a great favorite uncle who loved his many nieces and nephews climbing on his shoulders and rough housing with him at family get togethers. Don is survived by his 3 sisters, Anita Mennell of Hastings, Carolyn (George) Reeder of Bloomfield Hills and Donna (Michael) Cole of Scott, Arkansas. Also by 6 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at Bronson Battle Creek and Glenn arbor Hospice of Battle Creek for the tender care and comfort they provided for Don. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Hicks cemetery in Pennfield Township.
