Dolores Anne Kyle, age 78 of Battle Creek, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She was born November 9, 1936 in Pelham, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Wesley William and Helen (Ricketts) Green. On October 20, 1956 she married Joseph Kyle in Huntington, England. They made their home in Port Robinson, Ontario; Alconbury and Westgate, England; Selfridge, Michigan; Rome and Niagara Falls, New York and Colorado Springs, Colorado before settling in Battle Creek, Michigan. Dolores had worked as a dental assistant for Drs. Henry and Brown for many years. She was a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church where she was very active. She enjoyed baking pies for friends and family, making jam, knitting, sewing, quilt making and many crafts. Dolores is survived by her husband, Joe of Battle Creek; three sons: Robert (Elaine) Kyle of Battle Creek, Dr. Donald (Amy) Kyle of Yardley, PA and John (Shirley) Kyle of Ashburn, VA; six grandchildren: Jaymes, Jennifer, Joseph, Matthew, Jessica and Sarah; and one sister, Virginia Arbour of Welland, Ontario, Canada. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
