Diane Mcallaster

Diane E. McAllaster, age 72, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday January 16, 2016. She was born May 15, 1943 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of David E. and Nellie “Peg” (Henry) McAllaster and has been a lifelong resident currently residing at The Eagles Nest Family Home. Diane was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, enjoyed making and selling potholders, had a “Large” collection of Teddy Bears and enjoyed camping with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family whom she loved. Surviving are her brothers: Jack (Jenny) McAllaster of Huntington Beach, California and Bob (Barbi) McAllaster of Boise, Idaho; one sister: Char (Marv) Smith of East Leroy, Michigan; sister-in-law: Wendie McAllaster of Honolulu, Hawaii; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with her cousin Rev. Bob Heine officiating.
