Diana Orns

Diana L. Orns, 66 of Tekonsha, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at her home. She was born August 4, 1945 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of James and Virginia (Elliston) Goodwin. Diana loved all animals, especially horses and she loved to cook for her family and friends. Prior to her retirement, she had worked at the Kellogg Company for 28 years and was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. On July 21, 2002 she was married to Sam Orns, who survives. Also surviving are her three sons: Ronald (Sheila) Casebeer, Jr. of Battle Creek, Doug (Sheri) Casebeer of Battle Creek and Patrick Casebeer of Surprise, AZ; one daughter: Judy (David) Cox of Tennessee; two step-daughters: Shelli (Larry) Laubengayer of Battle Creek, Christy (Scott) Woodard of Ceresco; one step-son: Dustin Orns of Tekonsha; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; brother: James (Diana) Goodwin of Vicksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jon Goodwin. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Mr. Robert Heine officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society.
